1. INDEPENDENT RESELLER & NON-AFFILIATION DISCLAIMER

SLG Luxury is an independent online platform specializing in the resale and consignment of authentic luxury goods.

1.1. Independent Reseller / No Brand Affiliation: SLG Luxury is an independent reseller and is not affiliated with, associated with, sponsored by, authorized by, or endorsed by any of the luxury brands, designers, or manufacturers whose products are listed on the Site. All brand names, logos, and trademarks displayed on the Site are the exclusive property of their respective trademark holders.

1.2. Identification Purposes Only: Any mention of brand names, product names, model names, or use of brand imagery is strictly for the purpose of identifying the specific product being offered for sale or consignment. SLG Luxury makes no claims of being an authorized dealer, distributor, or representative of any brand featured.

1.3. Warranty Disclaimer: Since SLG Luxury is an independent reseller, products purchased from our Site may not include the original manufacturer’s warranty, and the manufacturer may not provide services for products purchased through unauthorized secondary market channels.

1.4. First Sale Doctrine (Resale of Authentic Goods): To the extent permitted by applicable law, SLG Luxury’s resale of authentic, lawfully acquired branded goods is supported by the “First Sale Doctrine” (also known as the “Exhaustion Doctrine”), which generally permits the owner of a lawfully purchased product to resell that product without the trademark owner’s permission. Nothing in these Terms is intended to, or shall, permit the sale of counterfeit or non-authentic goods.

2. AUTHENTICITY GUARANTEE

2.1. Authentication Process: SLG Luxury takes pride in the integrity of our curated collection. Every item received is subjected to a multi-step inspection process that may include internal review and/or evaluation by qualified third-party authenticators, as determined in our discretion, before being listed for sale. Authentication is based on a combination of available indicators (which may include, where applicable, materials, construction, brand stamps/engravings, date/serial codes, hardware, stitching, packaging/accessories, and overall craftsmanship) and comparison to known brand standards. Because brands may change design elements over time and counterfeit methods evolve, authentication is not a guarantee that a brand owner will agree with our assessment.

2.2. No Counterfeits; Good-Faith Process: SLG Luxury does not knowingly sell counterfeit goods and maintains procedures designed to reduce the risk of listing non-authentic items. However, you acknowledge that authentication is an opinion based on the information reasonably available at the time of review.

2.3. Counterfeit Policy: The sale of counterfeit goods is strictly prohibited. If an item is found to be non-authentic by a recognized authority within a specified timeframe after purchase, SLG Luxury will provide a full refund, subject to the return of the item in its original sold condition.

3. CONDITION OF GOODS

3.1. Pre-Owned Nature: Customers acknowledge that the majority of items sold by SLG Luxury are pre-owned or vintage. While we strive to provide accurate descriptions and high-resolution photography, items may exhibit signs of wear, age, or use consistent with their pre-owned status.

3.2. Grading System: All items are graded and described based on our internal assessment. It is the buyer’s responsibility to review all photographs and descriptions carefully before completing a purchase.

4. CONSIGNMENT SERVICES

4.1. Agreement to Consign: Individuals ("Consignors") wishing to sell their luxury items through SLG Luxury must agree to our separate Consignment Agreement, which details commission rates, payment schedules, and shipping protocols.

4.2. Ownership Warranty: Consignors represent and warrant that they are the sole and lawful owners of the items provided for consignment and that such items are free and clear of all liens and encumbrances.

5. SALES AND PAYMENTS

5.1. Pricing: All prices are listed in USD and are subject to change without notice. Prices for luxury goods are determined based on market value, condition, and rarity.

5.2. Finality of Sale: Due to the unique nature of luxury resale, all sales are considered final unless otherwise stated in our Return Policy or in the event of a proven authenticity issue.

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of SLG Luxury or its content suppliers and is protected by United States and international copyright laws. Unauthorized use of SLG Luxury’s proprietary branding is strictly prohibited.

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SLG Luxury shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our services or for the cost of procurement of substitute goods. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific item in question.

These Terms and any disputes arising hereunder shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the state in which SLG Luxury is headquartered, without regard to conflict of law principles.
